Before & After Care
Mobile Treatment Care Tips
Preparing your skin correctly ensures optimal results, and proper post-care keeps your skin glowing and protected.
Facial & Peel Preparation
- Avoid Retinoids: Discontinue use of retinol, AHA/BHAs, or prescription skin topicals 3-5 days prior to any facial or peel.
- Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sunbeds, sunburn, or heavy tanning for at least 7 days before your appointment.
- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your treatment; hydrated skin responds better to clinical peels.
- Shaving: For gentlemen, avoid shaving your face within 12 hours of a facial treatment to prevent razor burn irritation.
Waxing Pre & Post Guidelines
- Hair Length: For body waxing, ensure hair is at least 1/4 inch long (about the size of a grain of rice) for the wax to grab.
- Post-Wax Hygiene: Avoid hot baths, steam rooms, pools, or intense sweating for 24-48 hours post-waxing to prevent breakout bumps.
- Sunscreen Protection: Freshly waxed skin is highly sensitive. Apply mineral SPF 30+ if going outdoors.
- No Picking/Exfoliating: Avoid scrubs or exfoliating acids for 72 hours. Gently moisturize daily to prevent ingrown hairs.
